Darlene is a self taught artist.  She grew up in a small rural town in Brackney, Pennsylvania and took to art as soon as she was able to hold a pencil.  She graduated high school with four years of art classes.  Then took a hiatus from painting and found a job at a local florist in upstate New York.  To her, designing with flowers is like creating a beautiful sculpture and she has learned a great deal about colors and customer relations. 
Darlene is now selling her artwork online at her Zazzle.com online store and living with her husband Jason in upstate New York with their two girls, a dog and a cat.
